Goosebumps don’t lie. That’s my thing, a tagline to live by. Check out the video, this gave me instant goosebumps. I was at Electric Zoo this year, and this video took me right back. Of course, only an amazingly well edited video can give you goosebumps, it has to bring back a memory, put you in the moment all over again, that’s a hard thing to achieve in a video. Every time I watch this I’m back on Randall’s Island, overlooking Manhattan, sweating my ass off, surrounded by music and lights, dancing until I literally can’t stand. Goosebumps. But “goosebumps don’t lie” isn’t just about a video, it’s about how amazing it feels to have a physical reaction to something that touches you, other people may not get goosebumps from the same things you do, that’s what makes them so awesome, they are uncontrollable, and let you know when you are truly feeling something, they don’t lie. When you find someone that gets goosebumps from the same things you do, THAT in it self is a seriously goosebump worthy moment. A lot of things give me goosebumps (besides being cold, those kind don’t count here), I always try to embrace them, and experiencing a goosebump inducing phenomenon for the first time can never quite be matched.
